Current Stage: Light Marketing

Prox OS is not ready for a full launch campaign. The right current motion is light, truthful, and founder-led:

  • Build logs.
  • Screenshots.
  • Short product notes.
  • Dogfooding story.
  • Public roadmap fragments.
  • /@esmadrider profile as a founder operating surface.
  • /@prox-os organization profile as a platform story surface.
  • "Prox OS is building Prox OS inside Prox OS."

This is enough to make the work visible without overclaiming traction, open-source status, enterprise readiness, or live connector coverage.

When To Move Toward Heavier Marketing

Heavier marketing should wait until these conditions are true:

  • Launchpad is visually memorable and explains the post-login surface.
  • One Founder Studio is useful enough for daily dogfooding.
  • App Store, Library, Dataset Hub, Settings, and Studio boundaries are clear.
  • The founder uses Prox OS daily for Prox OS work.
  • A three-minute demo explains the product without a long voiceover.
  • Three to ten external users are willing to try it.
  • The tagline is stable enough to repeat.

Open-core And Leadership Narrative

Because the current repository is proprietary, external language should not say that Prox OS is open-source today. More credible language:

  • Designed with an open-core roadmap.
  • Runtime-first resource model.
  • AI-native solo builder case study.
  • Dogfooding before community.
  • Source-available or open-source licensing may be considered later.

Avoid claiming category leadership before traction. The stronger claim is that Prox OS is exploring a clear and useful resource model for AI-native work.

Positioning Options

Landing Page

Prox OS turns apps, datasets, docs, and AI tools into user-owned Studios.

Video

Your AI tools generate more code, docs, apps, and data than one person can govern. Prox OS turns that work into Studios you can use, operate, and share.

Docs

Prox OS is a Runtime-first AI-native workspace platform. A Studio is an owner-controlled workspace resource that mounts apps, datasets, connectors, docs, permissions, and AI context through explicit contracts.

README

Prox OS is an experimental Runtime-first workspace platform for turning apps, datasets, docs, connectors, and AI tools into user-owned AI-native Studios.

Narrative Pillars

  • Build: create apps, docs, datasets, and tool surfaces.
  • Operate: keep work visible through Launchpad, Settings, Library, and Studios.
  • Govern: use manifests, permissions, datasets, and connector boundaries.
  • Share: publish Apps, Studios, datasets, and profiles when trust systems are ready.
