Position

Prox OS is an AI-native Web OS and workspace platform. Runtime is the repo-like object where apps, windows, Dock state, display preferences, and runtime-local modes live. Studios are workspace and composition resources for focused creation, app/data organization, and AI workflow assembly.

The platform is broader than any single Runtime: it owns identity, registries, permissions, app adapters, Alma, Inspector, App Store, Community, Universe, and platform preferences.

Device Studio Reference

The future mobile direction is documented under Device Studio. Device Studio is a local-only development layer for capture, AI, notifications, approvals, dynamic view preview, and continue-on-desktop. It should validate through responsive web and PWA before any Expo-based native companion starts.
