Purpose

Contacts is a people graph and identity connector for contact metadata, relationship notes, shared workspaces, and collaboration context.

Boundary

It is not a full address book replacement and does not connect Google Contacts, Apple Contacts, social networks, or enrichment services.

Current MVP UI

• Source cards for Google Contacts, Apple Contacts, Prox OS Community, and manual contacts.
• People list, person profile panel, relationship notes, shared workspace placeholders, AI context, and permission panel.

Mock Data Model

The UI uses mock people, tags, relationship notes, workspace links, and source labels.

Future Connectors

Future work may add contact provider adapters, identity resolution, workspace collaboration links, and consent-aware enrichment.

Alma Capabilities

Alma can later prepare meeting context, summarize collaboration history, and connect people to projects after authorization.

Permission Boundaries

Contact metadata, private notes, and enrichment are separate scopes. External enrichment is disabled by default.

Backend Status

No OAuth, contact provider API, enrichment backend, or database schema exists.

Security And Privacy

People data includes third-party privacy concerns. Future connectors need consent, export, deletion, and source provenance.
