Purpose

Messages Center is an OS-native inbox for approvals, agent results, shared workspace invites, internal messages, and community notifications.

Boundary

It is not WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Discord, Slack, or an external messenger replacement.

Current MVP UI

• Inbox tabs for All, Approvals, Agents, Shared Workspaces, and Community.
• Mock approval cards, agent result cards, workspace invites, thread previews, and attention summary.

Mock Data Model

The UI uses mock inbox records, approval states, agent result summaries, and internal message previews.

Future Connectors

Future work may add workflow approval APIs, internal notification routing, agent run callbacks, and workspace collaboration messages.

Alma Capabilities

Alma can later summarize what needs attention, explain approval requests, and group agent results.

Permission Boundaries

Internal OS messages can be summarized. External sends are disabled and require explicit confirmation in any future connector.

Backend Status

No websocket, external messaging provider, send action, or backend route exists.

Security And Privacy

Approval messages may authorize actions. Future implementations need audit trails and human review.
