Global Product Boundaries
Prox OS is a global product. Regional language support, hosted infrastructure, public community features, and local platform availability are separate concerns.

Product Profiles
| Profile | Meaning | Current Posture |
|---|---|---|
| Global edition | Default global product for private workspaces, developer tools, official apps, and staged Prox Cloud. | Primary direction. |
| CN Lite | Limited regional availability posture with private use and public UGC disabled by default. | Documented planning profile. |
| Future CN Platform | A possible future region-specific platform profile with dedicated operations and constraints. | Reserved concept only. |
Chinese language support does not mean a China-local public UGC platform. A Chinese landing page, Chinese docs, or Chinese blog can serve global Chinese users, overseas Chinese users, independent developers, AI users, and outbound/startup users without changing the hosted product profile.
Self-Hosting Versus Prox Cloud
Self-hosting operators own their deployment, domain, users, content, and local operational responsibilities. Prox Cloud owns hosted infrastructure and hosted-content operations for Prox OS-operated services.
Public UGC
Public UGC must sit behind feature flags and launch gates. UI-only hiding is not enough for production enforcement.
